Job Description A full service asset integrity management company based in Anchorage, AK, is in need of NDE Level II Technicians for work supporting operations on the North Slope.  Our client specializes in Nondestructive Testing (NDT), external and internal corrosion investigations, and quality program management.  The qualified Technician will be responsible for performing the hands-on inspection, interfacing with the onsite client, and preliminary evaluations of inspected items. This individual reports directly to the Project Lead.

Responsibilities - Demonstrate and ensure an overall commitment to safety.- Able to work in a team environment.- An NDT Level II individual shall be qualified to set up and calibrate equipment for task at hand.- Interpret and evaluate results with respect to applicable codes, standards, specifications, procedures and customer’s specific requests.- Properly perform specific calibrations, specific NDE, and specific evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written instructions and to record accurate results.- As required by various jobs and clients: Read isometric drawings, Execute safety and permitting requirements, Perform routine maintenance and repair equipment, Operate vehicles and equipment (With certification or license), and be responsible for proper transportation, control and disposal of hazardous materials in technicians control.- Direct, instruct, and be a positive role model to the trainee or Level I that is accompanying them on the job.

Job RequirementsBase Qualifications:

- IRRSP or State issued Radiographers card

- Radiography Level II utilizing Gamma & Pulsed X-ray (CR & Film)- Ultrasonic Level II for straight beam flaw detectioni. (Full 80 hrs of training & 840 hrs OJT)- Real-time Radiography Level II for the detection of CUI (C-arm & DR)

Preferred Qualifications:

- Ultrasonic – Shearwave and/or phased array- Magnetic Particle – dry method- Liquid Penetrant – solvent method
