Job Description IT and Vocational Business Skills Development - Vietnam

About Us: The organisation you will work with provides vocational opportunities in IT and business training to specially selected students from low income families, who wish to escape from a future of farming. Selected students are put through a 2 years training course in IT skills (network systems and programming), English lessons and business life skills. There is a carefully constructed curriculum, conducted in conjunction with Danang University. Upon graduation, students are placed into internships (paid and unpaid) in IT companies based in Vietnam. The student then has the opportunity to turn this opportunity into a job. Therefore the organisation offers full vocational training and job placement. The organisation currently has 90 students, and is growing each year. There is a need for volunteer experts/mentor in the fields of IT (network administration, programming languages and web design (C++, PHP, Java, HTML, CSS etc.) English training, business life skills (how to make a presentation, communicate in a business setting, PR, accounting etc.) This is a flexible placement and your skills will be put to best use as per the needs of the school.
Job Requirements IT and Vocational Business Skills Development - Vietnam Requirements - IT and Vocational Business Skills Development - Vietnam:
  • Min age 18
  • Minimum 3 months commitment - 15+ hours a week
  • Enthusiasm and interest to work in teaching and prior knwoledge or experience of IT and/or business skills
  • Good English ability
