Job Description First Call Quality Services is an ISO certified, Quality Engineering Service Group providing sorting, inspection, containment and rework of non-conforming material and engineering services to the automotive market.

The Area Sales Manager will develop sales statewide with Tier 1 and Tier 2 automotive suppliers as well as work with the National Sales Manager on OEM accounts.

This position requires knowledge and familiarity with sales and marketing concepts as well as practices related to containment activity.
Job Requirements

Strategic Sales and Marketing Activities

  • Contact new and existing customers via phone and personal visits to introduce First Call Quality Services as a viable solution to engineering and inspection activity.
  • Consistently execute sales activities with he goal of increasing market share.
  • Create and maintain a database of all call activity in addition to submitting a scorecard and plan of action for weekly sales tasks. 
  • Work with the National Sales Manager to uncover opportunities by conducting research as to suppliers who can utilize our services with emphasis on new product launch programs.
  • Participate in monthly and annual sales forecasting for your market and monitor activity as it pertains to quarterly goals, plans and strategies.







Requirements - Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing or Business preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in sales and territory management in the automotive industry preferred, or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment with an emphasis in Quality Methods and Techniques.
  • Solid knowledge and skill in MS Office, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Overnight and extensive travel in this market can be expected.
