Job Description Front Desk / Admissions Responsibilities:
  • Greeting Patients
  • Communication with patients, physicians and any other people who contact the clinic   
  • Scheduling Patients
  • Verifying patients insurance
  • Entering patient data into billing system
  • Collecting Co-pays
  • Preparing management information
  • Inputting Data Collected From In-house Research:
    Other Tasks:
    The admissions person reports to the clinic director and does any other tasks assigned by the clinic director.
    Job Requirements Front Desk / Admissions Required Education and Experience:
    • High school graduate or equivalent
    • Experience in health care in a patient contact position is an advantage but not necessary
    • Experience in other industries, eg. retail, in a position requiring customer contact is also useful
