Job Description Personal Trust Administrator Summary: Perform various clerical and administrative duties to contribute to effective and efficient business operations. Duties: ●  Read trust documents with a basic understanding of terms used ●  Follow policies and procedures ●  Open new accounts through DTC’s established account opening process; verify that all assets have transferred and are set up properly within 30 days of asset transfer ●  Coordinate with the Trust Officer the necessary actions to be taken to close an account in an accurate and timely manner ●  Research and respond to client mail, phone, and fax inquiries through the retrieval of information from the files ●  Meet with clients, accountants, attorneys, and investment executives on an as needed basis to provide account information and respond to requests ●  Process correspondence, reports, and proposals as requested by the Trust Officer ●  Review and maintain daily reports and other periodic forms; monitor and identify overdrafts; resolve and follow through to completion ●  Perform routine account administration duties on selected accounts at the direction of the Trust Officer ●  Complete basic information on annual reviews ●  Process distributions and receipts from select client accounts ●  Perform any other duties as assigned
Job Requirements


●  High School diploma or equivalent work experience

●  Ability to acquire working knowledge of Davidson Trust Company’s (DTC) policies and procedures

●  Comprehensive understanding of the degree of administration required for all accounts

●  Basic understanding of fiduciary tax issues surrounding trust accounts 

●  Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

●  Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills

●  Excellent oral- and written-communication skills

●  Ability to work overtime, if needed

●  Maintain client confidentiality

●  Communicate in a clear and service oriented manner; use appropriate, professional language and grammar to effectively exchange ideas and information

●  Ability to proactively work with both external and internal clients; relate with others in a professional manner in order to accomplish work responsibilities and objectives

●  Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance
