Job Description Position Summary: Blake's Lotaburger managers oversee all operations of a single restaurant including, but not limited to, ensuring customer satisfaction while maintaining profitability through diligent monitoring and controlling of food/beverage costs and labor costs. The management team is also responsible for protecting the current sales volume and working to aggressively increase future sales volume. Ultimately, it is the duty of the management team to run an efficient restaurant operation, rendering fast customer service in a friendly manner in a clean and sanitary atmosphere.



Essential Functions:

1.      Compliance with and enforcement of all Blake’s Lotaburger Policies and Procedures: As the leaders in the restaurant the management team must, first and foremost, lead by example. Each manager must have a working knowledge of both the General Employee Policies & Procedures as well as Book 1: Store Operations for Store-Level Managers. Additionally, managers are responsible for ensuring that all store-level employees comply with all Blake’s Lotaburger Policies and Procedures. Each manager must participate in enforcing those policies through appropriate discipline when a violation occurs.

2.      Cash/Product Accountability:  Managers take full responsibility for cash and product in the store. You must ensure that no contents are missing from the safe and that deposits are safely delivered to the bank according to Blake’s Lotaburger cash handling policies.  Managers are also responsible for taking accurate inventory of the product in the store at the required intervals and ordering in quantities that correspond with the store’s needs.

3.      Attendance and Scheduling:  Assistant and Shift managers may work Full Time (35-40 hours) or Part Time (<28 hours).

4.      Professional Appearance: Managers must appear professional, neat, clean, and well-groomed, and are required to have good personal hygiene to set an example for your employees.

5.      Compliance with Applicable Law: Managers must ensure that the store is in compliance with all applicable laws including, but not limited to, food safety, premises safety, equal employment opportunity, and workers’ compensation reporting. 

6.      Personal Accountability/Honesty: Blake's Lotaburger managers must be honest and accountable for events occurring within the store.

7.      Customer Service:  Managers must demonstrate the highest level of customer service by being polite and friendly to customers, particularly when handling complaints.

8.      Recruiting:  All managers must contribute to keeping the  store fully-staffed with a sufficient number of employees to allow for flexible scheduling. You will accept and review applications and pre-screen applicants.  General Managers will interview and hire qualified and motivated new employees. Managers are also expected to recognize and cultivate talent and leadership skills in existing store employees with the goal of creating future shift managers, assistant managers, and general managers.


Job RequirementsAt least 1 year experience in a management role
Must be able to pass a criminal background check
Must have a valid driver's license
