The purpose of the Assistant Manager is to assist the Branch Manager in order to learn the finance business, RMC’s business practices and to prepare to manage a branch office. The Assistant Manager will perform in accordance with RMC’s Mission, Vision and Shared Values.
Duties and responsibilities
Understand our personal loan product offerings in order to assist customers in making educated decisions that help them achieve their financial goals.
Establish and build customer relationships through delivering exceptional service.
Telephone past-due customers.
Work with past-due customers to arrange payments.
Make outside visits to reestablish contact with customers.
Transport money and deposits to and from bank.
Complete training program within the time required by the Branch Manager.
Complete weekly progress report.
Maintain daily tabulation of delinquency report.
Assist in maintaining standards in weekly delinquency reduction and delinquency slow file percentages.
Answer telephone promptly and courteously.
Accept and post counter payments.
Open and post mail payments.
Sign checks for loans, branch expenses and money remittances.Calculate cash to customers.
Close loans as directed by the Manager.
Assist in mailing collection material to past-due customers.
Other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Must pass drug screen, criminal and credit background checks.
Some college experience a plus
Previous work experience in a public-facing environment.
Experience in consumer finance industry.
Willingness to relocate for career advancement.
