As a Senior Technical Product Manager on our Technical Product Development team in the US Pharmaceutical Marketing department, you will contribute to defining and building products based on industry experience, contact with customers and prospects, interactions with internal stakeholders (Health Mart and Access Health, primary in this case); interactions with others within Marketing; and leading approaches from adjacent and other industries The focus of such products and programs in your area is currently on retail customers with myHealthMart (web and mobile), myMcKesson and related products like Your Pharmacy Online (YPO).
Partnering closely with others across our Marketing team (Product Strategy and Demand Generation), key business stakeholders, and internal and external IT developers, you will provide support and expertise in developing requirements, product roadmaps, product releases, managing and delivery and quality. You will be also responsible to gather usage statistics to help prioritize ongoing development efforts as well influence overall product strategy decisions related to the product portfolio in your scope of influence.
You are responsible for defining requirements and packaging features into product releases and collaborating heavily with others in the Marketing department, Development and Support teams to execute the end-to-end product management process. You are also responsible for effectively communicating key decisions, product roadmaps, issues, and other relevant information to your supervisor and other US Pharma Marketing leaders. You must analyze the competitive landscape, monitor and incorporate industry innovations, maintain product portfolio roadmaps, define user personas, write product business and technical requirements, and work with internal/external service providers to deliver the requirements, keeping all interested parties "in the loop" along the way.
You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy, a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time with internal and external stakeholders to understand customers' problems, and to find and/or develop innovative solutions to solve those problems. You must be able to communicate and effectively build relationships with many functions and people across the company. You will also serve as the internal and external "evangelist" for your product offering(s).
Along with Product Strategy and Technical Product Development counterparts, regularly connect with internal stakeholders (Health Mart, Access Health, and others as needed) and directly with customers to understand business priorities, customer challenges, and other relevant information to contribute to a vision for existing and/or new products.
Responsible for the lifecycle management of retail-focused products, and their performance and penetration within McKesson retail customers and their patients (YPO).
Product Owner Manage the development and operations and life cycle management of retail focused products. Own the requirements definition and work with the team on stakeholder prioritization, as well as technology development and roadmap for features/user stories and product evolution. Keep stakeholders informed and solicits input/feedback on key decisions and roadmap priorities.
Oversee the development of prototypes, mockups, and wireframes, and then validate with customers and internal stakeholders.
Work with Agile / Scrum teams to capture and translate requirements, develop user stories, test features, and work with beta customers to pilot and implement products and gather feedback.
Work collaboratively with the Demand Generation team to review marketing/communications messages and migrate customers to new products or product versions as they are available.
Conduct product demos across various stakeholders internal and external.
Maintain a detailed competitive landscape analysis to ensure continued differentiation of target products/programs.
Collect and analyze usage statistics to gauge customer value and determine go-forward product development priorities.
Liaison for products between McKesson Business groups and Business Units, internal and external IT providers, other product managers, Demand Generation functions, the field sales organization, the legal department, and other stakeholders to achieve above goals.
Be a "team player" within the Technical Product Development team specifically, and the US Pharma Marketing team overall, to leverage knowledge to enable optimal delivery of differentiated products across all customer segments
Work on support issues by analyzing and finding resolution
5+ years of product management experience including 2+ years managerial experience
5+ years experience delivering Reporting and Analytics tools in a Product Management role in a customer facing capacity
Experience in building Data/Reporting/Analytics products as Technical Product Manager/Product Owner using Agile / Scrum development methodology
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with business/strategy product managers and leadership teams across stakeholders - from business owners, operations, engineering to sales
Ability to communicate and translate between business and technical partners to create deep and mutual understanding of the product portfolio
Experience writing requirements and user stories and working with engineering team to develop analytics, eCommerce, and digital products
