Kforce has a client in search of an Active Directory Engineer III in Richfield, Minnesota (MN). The client is only considering local candidates.Overview:The resource will be supporting initiative to identify and architect solutions for active directory and system integration problems that will improve security. This role provides 3rd level operational support and problem resolution for services provided by the Active Directory team. The candidate will manage the 3rd level AD Team support queue and provide assistance/guidance to the 2nd level AD Support team. Additionally, the successful candidate will provide operational status reports to management on an as required and regular basis.Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide third tier support for client/server infrastructure and application support
  • Analyze and resolve problems related to access control, user administration, and operating level system security
  • Job Requirements


    • Experience working with and support Azure Active Directory Connect (AADC)
    • Experience with managing a WSUS environment
    • Experience working with PowerShell
    • Strong knowledge and ability to support Active Directory infrastructure in an enterprise environment
    • Strong understanding of Microsoft Network Policy Server (NPS/Radius)
    • Knowledgeable of Group Policy Administration
    • Knowledgeable of Active Directory components and related infrastructure
    • Active Directory (2008 R2 ,2012 R2, and 2016)
    • Windows Server 2008, 2012, and 2016
    • Strong PowerShell scripting knowledge
    • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
    Preferred Skills:
    • Experience with multifactor authentication technology.
    • Experience with non-Microsoft LDAPs such as ODSEE
    • Experience with PowerBroker
