Job Description Arconic Engines is seeking individuals who have a demonstrated ability to achieve results in manufacturing environments, as well as the passion to put that experience to work to lead a team to achieve manufacturing excellence.

The BC1 Production Supervisor (Area Leader) – 1st Shift is a supervisory position that is responsible for managing, guiding, and assisting in an assortment of tasks within manufacturing departments. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Providing leadership and strategic guidance and training in the resolution of manufacturing issues, staffing initiatives and implementation.
  • Prioritize, guide and facilitate the activities of the manufacturing function to meet department goals, initiatives and requirements.
  • Oversee the development of standard policies, procedures and practices to ensure customer requirements are embodied in the manufacturing process.
  • Establish and maintain uniform manufacturing performance metrics and reporting systems.
  • Drive improvements by promoting best practice methodologies and new technologies.
  • Ensure team development by supporting an active training environment.
  • Performs other work related duties as assigned.
  • Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic and Arms Regulations (I.T.A.R.) which requires U.S. persons status. ITAR defines U.S. persons as U.S. Citizens, U.S. Permanent Residents (Green Card Holder), Political Aslyee, or refugee.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 2+ years supervisory experience
  • Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
  • Experience working with lean manufacturing
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
