Job Description Job Description BAE Systems is seeking a self-motivated and experienced candidate to support the Standoff Munitions Application Center (SMAC). SMAC supports the Joint Force Air Component Commander (JFACC) by optimizing efficiency and combat effectiveness of High Demand Low Density (HD/LD) global strike and theater standoff munitions. This position is located at the government SMAC facility at Barksdale Air Force Base, located near Bossier City, LA. The Exercise / Long-Range Liaison is responsible for planning, suggesting, monitoring and recording the execution of current exercise planning and reporting functions for SMAC. Coordinates the unit’s participation in exercise participation, Multi-Domain Planning Groups, OPLAN meetings, planning conferences, and tech meetings, ensuring sensitive and discreet missions operate according to the published schedule. Provides technical expertise during complex deployments and exercises involving standoff munitions in every COCOM. Interfaces with all agencies of the military and with every level up to and including the DoD.Typical Education & Experience Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experienceRequired Skills and Education

- Knowledge of exercise and planning conference administration, policies, and procedures to develop an adequate training program.- Knowledge of data collection techniques and practices used to extract or obtain a variety of information required for the evaluation of training programs.- Ability to establish exercise training program objectives and to assess exercise effectiveness and analyze lessons learned towards SMAC training goals.- Previous ops experience in Standoff Weapons application on a tactical or strategic level.- Experience as an exercise coordinator / liaison for a flying squadron, an AOC, or equivalent.- Knowledge of AOC and cruise missile specific systems, and advanced tactics, techniques and procedures to be applied to instructional materials.- Thorough working knowledge of technical aspects of Air Force Standoff Weapon employment and tactics and ability to convey SMAC’s mission to Combatant Commanders through various exercise planning conferences.

Preferred Skills and Education - Knowledge of DoD, AF, and major command directives, concepts, procedures, guidance, and policy as they relate to Flying or AOC Exercises, as well as knowledge of the installation/command mission and organization.- Rated officer experience.- Completion of a formal C2 FTU AOCIQTSYS and/or AOCIQTNET course or equivalent.- 3 years’ experience as an exercise or inspection chief for a flying squadron, Wing IG, an AOC, or equivalent.
