MarketStar is excited to announce that we are now partnered with Pandora to assist with their digital advertising sales. This means that we are now hiring Inside Sales Representatives to work specifically on our Pandora team selling digital advertising and creating great experiences. As a Inside Sales Rep, you will be responsible for the entire sales process from prospecting/lead generation to closing the sale and providing ongoing support. You’ll be engaging prospective advertisers (both brands and agencies) via phone and email to help them drive significant results with their digital advertising. You’ll represent Pandora, the largest music streaming service in the US, and work with some of the most advanced digital advertising technology around! We’ll also provide paid training, including sharpening or developing your sales skills, an in-depth education on the digital advertising landscape, the Pandora product and advertising offerings, and everything else you’ll need to hit the ground running. What’ll You Be Doing? In this role you’ll: • Identify decision maker(s), qualify and initiate the sales process, analyze advertiser needs and goals and the opportunity for Pandora’s offerings • Gather audience & spend information to provide strong media plan recommendations to attain advertiser objectives • Close sales and set up advertiser accounts/campaigns • Establish clear advertising goals with advertisers • Become a digital advertising industry expert and provide a consultative sales experience for advertisers • Consistently achieve monthly sales quotas for customer acquisition and revenue generation • Work collaboratively with the MarketStar and Pandora teams in training, process improvement, closing sales, and building a strong team performance culture Who’re We Looking For? Someone with: • Prior digital advertising sales experience is preferred but not required • 2+ years experience with direct sales preferred (outbound/phone-based sales optimal) • Engaging and dynamic sales skills and drive to succeed in a quota driven, high expectation sales environment • Ability to learn quickly and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of Pandora’s products and services • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong phone presence • Excellent time management with the ability to effectively multi-task in a dynamic environment • Proficiency with Microsoft or Google Office and leading CRM systems such as salesforce.com • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)- or currently working toward degree Application process & what to expect: • All applicants must apply online (it’s a digital advertising sales job- you had to know we’d make you apply online!)- www.marketstar.com/careers • If we’re sufficiently impressed with your prior experience or that special little something on your resume, you may be asked to complete a video interview and must have access to a computer or device with a webcam (again- digital advertising sales, you should expect this kind of thing!) • If offered employment with MarketStar (wahoo!), all new hires must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
