This position services as the leader worker of the Substance Abuse staff by providing guidance and training to lower level staff. In addition, it may handle more unique or unusual matter that impact the facility. It also assists in developing, organizing, and conducting programs to provide education for conditions and problems relating to drug and alcohol abuse. It also conducts individual or group counseling sessions and programs and uses and models principles of the “What Works” system through evidence-based practices in all interactions with clients and other staff members.
