Robert Half Technology is looking for three Helpdesk Technicians for a three month contract to full time opportunity. Pay on contract would be $16.50 to $18.00 depending on experience and Certifications. Will pay $38K to $40K upon full time hire. Must be open to working any shift as this is a 24x7 environment. All applicants will need to undergo a background check, drug test and credit check. Our client promotes a very positive work culture and are looking for people who are customer service focused. Will be responsible for resolving level 1 IT incidents for internal and external end users. Will be resolving issues with laptops, desktops, printers Windows and Mac OS desk side or remotely. Will be troubleshooting network connectivity issues remotely and will need to be able to converse with Engineers and Managers to resolve or escalate issues. Keep proper documentation and work from a ticketing system on assigned incidents. Additional duties may include: Imaging and deploying new PCs and or Laptops for new employees Be able to prioritize tickets based on importance, be organized is use of time Update or create white papers, documentation for process and best practice Be able to run cable, help install, troubleshoot, break/fix of network hardware Run reports for network and system monitoring Work with teams for research and analysis of IT incidents Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external end users
Helpdesk Technician needs to have: 2+ years of L1 IT support experience preferred CompTIA A+, Net+ or Cisco CCENT or CCNA Certifications are highly beneficial Experience with IT troubleshooting and supporting end users over the phone Experience with detailed documentation and knowledge repositories Exceptional customer service skills Ability to multi task or change focus quickly, be able to prioritize in quickly changing environment Solid knowledge of Windows and Mac OS, Microsoft Office or O365 Working knowledge of network infrastructure to include Cisco routers, switches and multi-vendor modems All applicants required to undergo background check, drug test and credit check.
