What Product Management (PM) contributes to Cardinal Health at-Home:

Product Management at Cardinal Health at-Home is responsible for researching, developing and launching new, differentiated services & solutions. Our PM team responds to market changes, company initiatives, and customer needs by owning research and ideation, developing solution road-maps, driving the solution development process, and launching & tracking customer adoption.

Working closely with the senior marketing leadership, sales leadership and customers, the Product Manager plays a key role in supporting revenue and profit goals for Cardinal Health at-Home, while helping to achieve our goal of becoming the preferred brand among our customers.

  • Demonstrates the knowledge to define the business dynamics necessary to consider portfolio expansion including market size, barriers to entry, differentiated value, regulatory assessment and existing portfolio alignment.
  • Possesses the expertise to establish and/or coordinate a commercialization strategy to include product proforma, branding and sales strategies, communication vehicles, training and pilot site deployment.
  • Consults with vendor/supplier partners as required for product development.
  • Executes product launch with coordination of broader customer engagement.
  • Uses project management skills to manage projects from initiation through closing to successfully meet project objectives.

  • Responsibilities  

  • Analyzes market research, trends, projections and innovations to formulate new service & solution concepts.
  • Determine strategic road-maps and maintain a robust prioritized pipeline of new service & solutions offerings.
  • Plan, build and launch various service & solution offerings supporting our Cardinal Health at-Home, Independence Medical Business.
  • Work with Marketing Managers & Digital Marketing to drive downstream marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with Sales Training team to drive service & solution awareness, ensuring that sales team(s) are comfortable presenting and supporting the launch.
  • Drive market penetration by building and maintaining relationships with Cardinal Health at-Home sales teams as well as with vendor partners.
  • Work cross-functionally to drive feedback loop and prioritize service and solution improvements.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • 5+ years experience in Product Management or Marketing
  • Expert in Product Lifecycle Management, P&L experience preferred
  • Expert in Marketing Campaign Development & Launch   
  • Healthcare & Durable Medical Equipment (DME) experience preferred
  • B2B Business Experience
  • Experience in Agile, Waterfall, and Stage Gate New Product Development
  • Experience in Sale Enablement
  • Excellent command of all marketing tactics both traditional & digital – and how they work together to create an efficient funnel
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products, including Excel & PowerPoint
