Responsibilities

Overall Responsibilities:

This Business Operations Analyst position will play an integral role in managing our client projects by working with school divisions educating students with disabilities and our web-based technologies. This position serves as part of our Virginia team assisting school divisions recover Medicaid reimbursable costs. This position will manage day to day project tasks in addition to supporting EasyTrac™, a clinician web-based documentation and reporting tool.

The analyst will be working with a myriad of clients including special education personnel, school business, and finance personnel. This will include, but is not limited to, phone and email dialogue regarding state Medicaid policies and use of online software; conducting financial analysis; data entry; and status reporting. Additionally, the individual should have an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Access in order to create and navigate school division Medicaid data.

This position requires a background in operating and supporting clients with a technology-based product and someone who can quickly master our web-based technologies and provide a key role on our team. The ideal candidate for this position must be flexible, reliable, analytically-minded, detail-oriented, enthusiastic, and must have the ability to manage multiple tasks and clients simultaneously. Operations Analysts work in a deadline-oriented, fast paced environment as part of a growing team consisting of consulting and operations staff.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Provide client support (e-mail and phone support) in response to inquiries and questions from 30+ VA public school divisions
  • Conduct financial analysis including auditing of Medicaid financial data and state Medicaid policies
  • Master an understanding of special education and Medicaid policy requirements
  • Produce monthly and quarterly reports on collected data within mandated time frames
  • Collect and enter data into web-based data collection program within set timeliness and accuracy performance standards
  • Train school division users on web-based applications and system updates
  • Assist project team with the implementation and setup of PCG systems for new school divisions
  • Participate in special assignments as needed
  • Job Requirements

    Required Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in business administration, finance, information technology, public policy, or other closely related fields.
    • Familiarity with Special Education or Federal/State Medicaid programs is a plus.
    • 3+ years professional experience.
