Position Title:  Change Manager II

Position Overview:

Responsibilities/Deliverables that the resource will be responsible for:

  • The change manager will play a key role in ensuring the project meets objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage. This person will focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, and job roles. The change manager will:
  • Apply a change management process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by the project.
  • Support the design, development, delivery and management of communications.
  • Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders.
  • Provide input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs.
  • Work with project sponsors to drive the change
  • Identify and manage anticipated resistance
  • Identify, analyze and prepare risk mitigation tactics
  • Consult and coach project teams
  • Evaluate and ensure user readiness
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
  • What would a normal day for this position look like?
  • Partaking in meetings, creating (and implementing) change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and minimize resistance. Working with stakeholders and ensuring projects within the program are on track.

  • 5+ years change manager experience
  • Managing projects $3M+
  • A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
