Current Need

Hardware implementation for EnterpriseRx, Pharmaserv, and PharmacyRx. This activity includes working in coordination with customers, project managers, trainers and conversions reps for all hardware setup, peripherals, workstations, and interfaces. As well, this role performs software installation and configuration for add-on interfaces, label creation and manipulation, and set up of secondary offerings such as Pharmaserv Chain Host and Pharmacy Navigator.



Position Description

  • Implement new account Hardware for MPS Pharmacy Software Products. This includes servers, workstations, barcode scanners, image scanners, printers, signature pads, biometrics devices verify/test connectivity, collaboration between vendor and customer (VPN). The work performed for this setup requires software installation and knowledge of drivers, file transfers, general computer networking, routers/switches, and operating systems.

  • Implement new account Hardware for MPS Point Of Sale Products. This includes servers, workstations, barcode scanners, thermal printers, signature pads, cash drawer assembly. The work performed for this setup requires software installation and knowledge of drivers, file transfers, general computer networking, routers/switches, and operating systems.

  • Implement new account Label activity for MPS Pharmacy Software Products. This includes form building / creation using specific label tools (depending on product), maintaining form integrity when changes are made, label text manipulation for each account based on account specifications. Prior to this work, customer consultation is required to capture the specific label requirements per account.

  • Troubleshoot new account Hardware and Peripherals for MPS Pharmacy Software Products. This includes settings verification within the application and device, test network connectivity via basic networking tools, and process equipment replacement per established MPS&A process.

  • Implementation of numerous software application interfaces for MPS Pharmacy Software Products. Interfaces include, but are not limited to: Parata, ScriptPro, Kraymes-Staywell, Dispill, Kirby-Lester, Eyecon. Interface setup requires continual knowledge of specs for each interface and involves multi-layered communication between teams during setup.

  • Project management, related to the implementation of hardware and software per account. For every implementation, there are at minimum 10 separate tasks that have to be performed at different times throughout the implementation. This role requires a level of Project Management skill to be successful.
