RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in search of a Tanium Software Engineer in New York, New York (NY).Overview:We are looking for a Tanium Software Engineer to join a small Configuration and Automation team within the Global Systems Management team. The Configuration and Automation Team is responsible for analyzing, testing and deployment of Tanium for endpoint security and configuration management.We are looking for capable software engineers who are great team players that care about the quality of their code and delivered service. You will collaborate with a diverse group of technology engineers, to analyze software, develop processes and automation to deliver the best results for our customers and continuously optimize the performance of their team. Our security teams design, develop, test and support their services so you'll have the opportunity to be part of every stage of the process and take pride in delivering great new services with excellent reliability. As an engineer focused on endpoint services, you will be part of an exciting journey to change how we deliver our services to customers and how we integrate with business partners.   • Architect, design, implement, support, and evaluate Tanium modules and features
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve the software
  • Develop and interpret security policies and procedures
  • Continuously improve security software engineering practices within your team
  • Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables
  • Work with the operations team to take code to production and ensure excellent performance and reliability

    REQUIREMENTS:

    What do you need to succeed?
    • B.S. degree in Computer Science or related technical field (e.g. EE, Physics or Mathematics), or equivalent practical experience
    • Experience with some or all of the following: XML, CSS, Java, JSON, Python, Ruby
