Job Description This position supports Customer Service, Pressroom, and Finishing Departments.  QA Techinician Responsibilities:  • ​Oversees the plant-wide QA processes and procedures• Assists in maintaining quality measures, standards, and processes• Creates a safe work environment by adopting the Company safety policy• Reinforces positive safety actions while eliminating unsafe acts/programs; and escalates to management concerns that need attention for the safe working of all associates• Prepares reports on customer complaints, follows up with departmental manager to ensure that corrective and preventative actions have been implemented• Analyzes documented measurements like color data, seaming data to identify trends and preventative actions• Problem solves/troubleshoots material and processes problems that influence product quality. Specifically: Documents all material quality problems and work with suppliers to resolve the core issues• Follows up with suppliers for corrective action and report, rejections, claims• Tests raw material where and when appropriate for the end-use applications• Participates in product release decisions as needed• Analyzes, evaluates, and presents information concerning factors such as business situations, production capabilities, manufacturing problems, economic trends, and design and development of new products for consideration by other members of management team• Suggests and debates alternative methods and procedure in solving problems and meeting changing market opportunities• Maintains Quality Module and other quality department databases of internal and external complaints• Provides all necessary test information for accurately satisfying Supplier requirements for non-conforming product returns/rejections• Monitors labels through the production process, performing visual inspections while work is in process on press and finishing equipment• Assists other FDC associates with complaint, CPARs or internal non-conformances by providing knowledge and experience when asked• Looks for tends in NCR data• Reports and investigates any discrepancies in NCR data• Calibrates and maintains laboratory testing equipment• Assists with R&D projects relating to specific customer needs• Assists with inspection in rewind of returned complaint materials being reworked• Participates in teams/committees as needed• Assists with follow up on complaints as needed; for example, inspects returned goods, verifies counts collecting samples and related job information• Monitors pressroom and finishing and assists when issues arise• Determines disposition of finished products and incoming raw materials by collecting, classifying, analyzing and interpreting production and quality data; product acceptability based on customer and/or internal product specification• Performs other duties as needed QA Technician Requirements:  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from four-year College or University with or one to two years related experience and/or training AllStaff is an Equal Opportunity Employer # #CB
