Reporting to the Director, Talent Acquisition this role is responsible for the day to day operational recruitment activity of a team of recruiters (approx. 4 full life cycle recruiters and 2 campus recruiters) and the program management of the summer intern program.   This position will be responsible for the execution of the recruitment strategy for the area of the business in which they are aligned.    This Manager position will have direct accountability for summer internship program, candidate sourcing, vendor management, supporting the design and implementation of common recruitment process, and managing particular recruitment initiatives as well as their own case-load of senior level hires.   The Manager position will be expected to partner with line managers and local HR / HR Directors / HRBP to ensure adoption of agreed processes as well as leading recruitment activity in achieving challenging targets. The role has direct line management responsibility for a team of recruiters and will be responsible for performance management, development, coaching, and training to varying levels of experience.  

 Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Providing expert input to the Director Talent Acquisition into the development of a recruitment strategy and rolling annual plan.
  • Selecting and managing all sourcing methods for roles allocated to their team.
  • Accountability for managing recruitment activity in their team to KPI and SLA targets.
  • Managing all selected providers to price and performance targets.
  • Supporting the Director, Talent Acquisition in developing recruitment processes and tools for HR and Line Managers. Ensuring adoption and monitoring consistency of use.
  • Taking personal accountability for supporting managers over hires, hiring programs, and escalated concerns from the business
  • Participating in external networking and benchmarking as required.
  • Working with the Compensation function to ensure a good flow of information over external market rates and managing the smooth agreement of compensation offers to candidates.
  • Lead the design and implementation of the campus recruiting program and establish strong relationships with targeted schools.  Act as a strategic thought leader behind campus programs and relationships that will support our diversity and campus hiring goals.
  • Responsible for development and communication of relevant university metrics and leading indicators and develop action plans to address findings. 
  • Consult, mentor and develop talent acquisition team members, HR Colleagues and business leaders on all topics related to campus recruiting.  Engage with business partners to drive future needs for interns and leadership programs. Highly collaborative with the ability to develop, execute, and drive recruitment initiatives.

  • Shows the ability to take the initiative in identifying process improvements.
  • Experience leading campus internship program coupled with in house corporate recruiting management experience. Bachelors degree preferred.
