Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in search of a BI-Data Warehousing Lead in Princeton, New Jersey (NJ).Summary:This position will be responsible for managing and executing the design and development of a SQL Server based data warehouse with associated analytics and data governance processes. This is a hands-on position both developing and leading.The position will cover the following tasks:
  • Gather and prioritize requirements from stakeholders
  • Develop the architecture and approach to implementing BI solutions (security, tool use, portal integration, information presentation, etc.)
  • Design data warehouse data model and implement in SQL Server
  • Develop, test, and deploy extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) routines to load the data warehouse using SSIS, stored procedures, etc.
  • Develop analytics including reports, dashboards, and data visualizations
  • Troubleshoot BI-related problems and tune for performance
  • Implement and oversee a company-wide data governance program to support master data management and resolve data definition discrepancies among stakeholders
  • Manage internal and 3rd party consulting resources in support of the above tasks

    REQUIREMENTS:

    Specific technology experience with:
    • SQL Server DBMS
    • SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
    • SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
    • Microsoft PowerBI
    • Other analytics and visualization tools (Tableau, QlikView, Birst, etc.)
    • Strong knowledge of data warehousing and analytics, SQL and data transformation tools and patterns
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to solicit requirements and feedback from senior management
