BAE Systems is seeking a Systems Engineering Manager for Engineering, Development, Integration, and Sustainment (EDIS) Services. The individual shall manage all aspects of the EDIS Systems Engineering Team.
Responsible for System Engineering Process Execution, Configuration Planning, CONOPS, Long range Planning, SOS Architecture, Integration& Test, Sustainment Planning, Cybersecurity Planning, and Risk Management.
Manages EDIS technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, evaluates alternatives including cost and risk, supportability and analyses for total systems.
Manage total system product lifecycle to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Related field.
12 years' experience in Systems Engineering for Space or Missile Systems, Advanced Systems Development, or Ground Systems and Space Operations.
Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with ability to successfully pass a polygraph
Strong background in Microsoft Office Product Suites: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio
Work independently as well as in a team environment
Self-motivated and detail-oriented
Good understanding of discipline process; information and data management
Contributes to the completion of programs and projects; ability to obtain results and make recommendations
Ability to provide high level summary of results and draw conclusions based on interpretation of data
