Job Description Job Description BAE Systems is looking for a principle level Test Engineer to support Microwave Manufacturing factories. Successful performance will require driving manufacturing and product improvements, production problem resolution and integrated solutions into a lean manufacturing environment.Tasks Include:
  • Testing experience at RF/Microwave frequencies.
  • The ability to isolate and resolve test related issues in both hardware and software related problems
  • Validate test measurement accuracy, conduct data analysis and generate documents related to test.
  • Collaborate with product, quality, reliability, and design to drive improvements.
  • Working in a production environment supporting production
  • Driving manufacturing and test improvements
  • Provide technical leadership and training to technicians and engineering assistants.
  • Typical Education & Experience Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experienceRequired Skills and Education
  • Knowledge of electrical test and measurement techniques
  • Demonstrated problem analysis and problem solving skills
  • Experience following a structured problem solving approach with the ability to participate in design reviews with a multidiscipline team.
  • Hands on troubleshooting experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Familiar with RF and digital instrumentations (i.e. network analyzers, spectrum analyzers and signal sources)
  • Advanced computer skills including Keysight VEE, NITest stand, Lab windows CVI and MS-Office applications
  • Familiar with functional test procedure development and maintenance
