Job Description Job Description 1. Performs professional technical work which is complex in nature and requires in-depth knowledge and diversified application of systems engineering principles, theories, concepts, practices and techniques generally used to solve problems within a defined field of technology and ensure execution of systems engineering processes across the lifecycle.

2. Development, review, and verification of Technical Requirements; Documentation Reviews; Drawing Reviews; and Acquisition Documentation Development.

3. Ensure Systems Requirements Analysis (SRA) is performed to assure program objectives and system- level requirements are met and integration of system functions, elements, and requirements are involving all of the necessary engineering disciplines in the process.

4. Provide integration support to ICBM System Directorate for system level risk management activities. Understand Risk Management process and help to facilitate risk meeting with the government and contractors. Understand programmatic risk and safety risk. Help to direct risk identification process and risk mitigation planning. Support the government in the risk tracking operation and work with the risk data base in JIRA. Duties include support to maintain the risk management database, risk briefing preparation, risk coordination with both system and sub-system entities, development of risk management metrics to support risk prioritization, support to manage risk management integration meetings and risk management board (minutes, agendas, etc.).

5. Coordinates and directs the work efforts of lower level engineers and support personnel, if assigned. Assignments may include development of new techniques as a result of independent study, materials development and support of proposal efforts.

6. Potential program management duties to provide cost and schedule updates to the risk management program. This position manages and delivers risk management data to the government on a regular basis.

Typical Education & Experience Bachelor's Degree and 5 years work experience or equivalent experienceRequired Skills and Education Required education: Bachelor Degree or Masters Degree in: Engineering from an ABET certified College/University; Computer Science; Software; Mathematics; or Physics.

5+ years (4+ years with MS degree) of progressive experience in systems integration and analysis of military hardware and software systems/processes. 2 yrs experience leading system design, integration, and analytical efforts.

Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance

Preferred Skills and Education

7 years of ICBM or other DoD weapon system experience. Systems Engineering and Mechanical Engineering background.
