Job Description Environmental Quality Coordinator


  • Provide assistance in the maintenance and oversight of the quality system as it applies to laboratory operations.
  • Assist in running existing QA programs within the laboratory such as PT or certification programs and non-conformance report databases.
  • Assist in a variety of programs by reviewing processes, procedures and techniques in accordance with accreditation guidelines.
  • Training new and existing employees on all various aspects of quality systems and providing input/assistance to new QA training programs.
  • Performing internal audits of methods according to the internal audit schedule.
  • Working with analytical area to maintain up-to-date documentation of methods.
  • Assisting with certification applications
  • Maintaining list of current support equipment and associated calibration materials.
  • Spot checking logbooks and files.
  • Following company policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Create and revise new procedures and forms as assigned
  • Job Requirements
    • BS/BA in chemistry or related science.
    • Broad knowledge of laboratory program activities preferred
