PCG is seeking highly motivated and dependable ICAP Assessor on a full-time basis. The Inventory for Client and Agency Planning (ICAP) is used to provide information about what type of services a person may need for daily living and determines an individual’s level of functioning for Broad Independence and General Maladaptive Factors.
The ICAP Assessor will be responsible for contacting individual respondents to complete interviews based on the ICAP assessment tool to determine an individual’s level of functioning on behavior and health factors.
Hours are flexible, including regular working hours and early mornings, evenings and weekends. Ideal candidates will have a social services background with disability populations in community environments, and/or relevant social work or case management experience.
• Retrieving and logging ICAP referrals • Scheduling and completing ICAP and addenda interviews key respondents to schedule phone interviews• Entering ICAP and ICAP addenda results into software• Represent PCG and the client in a professional manner.
Required Skills: • Ability to consistently interact with respondents in an appropriate, professional, and respectful manner.• Attention to detail with the ability to document interview information with accurate results. • Dedication to accomplishing goals and overcoming challenges. • Flexible, self-starter possessing intellectual curiosity. • Excellent oral presentation and written communication skills. • Solid organization and time management skills.
Required Experience: • Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred. • Strong social services background, preferably with home and community-based services supporting populations such as individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities.• Survey, assessment, or compliance experience in the area of human services or a related industry.
Preferred Experience:• Prior experience conducting interviews with individuals with intellectual disabilities• Case management experience in a human service setting, such as HCBS or Medicaid
