Job Description Job Description The person selected for the position will be part of a team responsible for supporting the growth of Continuous Improvement (CI) across a variety of factories in the manufacturing operation’s organization. The selected individual must be able to operate independently with the ability to lead and influence others through actions and demonstration of continuous improvement knowledge. Candidate should possess the skills necessary to drive change and support the development of a continuous improvement culture.Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with factory leadership teams to help develop and execute CI plans designed to support the specific needs of their factory
  • Lead PFMEA’s and implement process control plans
  • Support the efforts of global improvement programs such as the Zero Defect Initiative
  • Provide consulting support and facilitation services for new CI projects
  • Support the Lean manufacturing training programs by being part of the classroom instructor team
  • Facilitate the sharing of best practices across the operation’s organization
  • Typical Education & Experience Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experienceRequired Skills and Education
  • In depth understanding of Lean manufacturing and risk assessment tools
  • Strong analytic skills
  • Experience in leading continuous improvement efforts from the factory floor
  • Experience in circuit card and module assembly operations
  • Ability to lead and/or facilitate Kaizen events
  • Experience in teaching a variety of Lean and/or Six Sigma topics
  • Preferred Skills and Education
  • Lean certified (Lean Certification Alliance)
  • Six Sigma Green Belt Certified (certification based on industry standards)
