SUMMARY The Credit Support Specialists primary responsibility is to manage all facets of credit and accounts receivable relationships with an assigned portfolio of Advance commercial customers. The Credit Support Specialist is expected to directly contact customers when credit limits need to be reviewed, when orders are placed on decline and when balances are past due. The Credit Support Specialist focuses on maximizing efficient order flow, conducting credit investigations, negotiating payment arrangements and managing all aspects of the credit portfolio. The results of effective performance will be maximizing sales opportunities and minimizing credit losses, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Associates degree (Bachelor’s degree preferred); and minimum 1-3 years commercial credit and collection experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
