Job Description


Kforce's client, a global asset management firm with $250B AUM is in search of two Internal Auditors to join this rapidly growing New York City, New York (NY) organization. These roles offer great work/life, superior management, and excellent compensation and mobility within the firm.Essential Tasks:
  • Develops audit programs and testing procedures relevant to risk and test objectives
  • Conducts assigned audit engagements successfully from beginning to end
  • Identifies and communicates issues raised, offering recommended solutions relevant to business and risk
  • Ensures audit conclusions are based on a complete understanding of the process, circumstances, and risk
  • Writes concise audit reports that clearly articulate issues raised
  • Communicates assigned tasks to engagement team in a manner that is clear and concise ensuring high quality, accurate, and efficient results
  • Researches and reviews current and new regulations that impact the processes being audited
  • Job Requirements


    • Minimum of 2-8 years of experience with a public accounting firm and/or corporate industry experience with emphasis on financial and accounting applications and financial and operational controls
    • Comprehensive experience in SOX related procedures (walkthroughs, control testing) for financial and operational processes
    • Trusted advisor; must have experience in building trust through consulting engagements
    • Understanding of COSO 2013 framework
    • Strong communication skills in both writing (documentation of audit plan, procedures, results) and verbal (interviewing process owners, presentation of audit results in client meetings)
    • Networking; must be able to demonstrate efficient organizational networking to achieve objectives
    • Ability to communicate assigned tasks to engagement team in a manner that is clear and concise ensuring high quality, accurate, and efficient results
    • Ability to develop strong rapport with client contacts
    • Ability to multi-task over of multiple audit plans
    • Ability to flourish in a fast-paced, complex environment and willing to adapt to change
