Job Description Responsible for international/domestic shipping cost analysis, adherence to world trade agreements, and implementation of supply chain logistics projects.

•Develop and implement internal policies and procedures to meet U.S. and foreign import/export regulations (i.e. classification, valuation, quantity, origin declaration, Free Trade Agreement and special trade program qualification).
•Obtain and maintain required documents from suppliers for free trade agreements and US trade requirements (Dodd-Frank Act, Conflict Minerals).
•Works closely with Flow’s global logistics team and provides guidance on fright vendor selection/performance & trade agreement compliance.
•Help establish metrics and report on those metrics for Flow freight cost which will be used to determine the effectiveness of cost reduction and productivity gains in world-wide logistics.
•Coordinate logistics activity with Flow sister-divisions and provide support by implementing. competitive bids of qualified vendors to provide Flow with required service levels at competitive cost
•Assists in the implementation and maintenance of traffic programs to enhance services and reduce costs.
•Provide support and recommend improvements in the way Flow logistics department interacts with other areas (warehouse inventory, customer service, project management, etc…).
•Provides guidance and assistance to others in international/domestic transportation issues.
•Completes assigned projects as required.
•Performs other related duties as applicable.
Job Requirements•Extensive knowledge of standard export concepts, practices and procedures.
•Comprehensive knowledge of US trade agreements and what is required to comply.
•Ability to establish project milestones and achieve them once approved by management.
•Excellent oral and written communication skills.
•Exceptional organizational skills.
•Strong level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
•Ability to work independently on projects and function effectively in a team environment.
•Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., BS in Business or Transportation) or equivalent of experience and training that provides required knowledge, skills and abilities.
•Minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a traffic coordinator.
•Proficient with computers utilizing Windows based programs.
