Job Description

Our client, a large aerospace company located in Wilsonville, OR specializing in avionics and IT systems for governmental and aircraft manufacturers is seeking a Systems Engineer I who will be responsible for overall system definition. Job Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Identification of system-level requirements and preparation of system specification, wiring diagrams, interface control documents, hardware requirement documentation, and software requirement documentation.
  • Research and identification of aircraft interface characteristics; generation and maintenance of aircraft and HGS interface database used in the preparation of wiring diagrams to support interface definition.
  • Preparation of system functional test procedures and creation of traceability from system functional requirements; providing inputs into development of standard test procedure format and test coverage analysis.
  • Execution of system-level test procedures and identification of anomalies in test procedures, test equipment operation and system under test operations
  • Capture and manage requirements, analyze, document and conduct verification/validation testing for systems, products or sub-systems of moderate-to-high complexity and contribute to system integration.

    • This is an estimated 12 month contingent/temporary position in Wilsonville, OR and is offered through Volt Technical Resources which is located in Portland, OR.     Job Requirements

    Systems Engineer I Qualifications:

    • 3-10 years experience with avionics
    • 3-10 years experience in Systems Engineering
