Main responsibilities
• Collaborate with team members on Web engineering projects of various scope, from re-architecting complex traffic management systems to troubleshooting discrepancies to implementing XML advertising feeds.
• Collaborative brainstorming and conceptual development of different ideas.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with members of management and production staff.
Qualifications:
• Demonstrated proficiency with PHP, mySQL, Linux, Apache, XML and JavaScript. Experience with jQuery or similar frameworks desired.
• Proficiency with source control systems required. Subversion preferred.
• Entrepreneurial mindset.
• Ability to work under deadline pressure.
• Comfortable in sometimes hectic environment with quickly-changing goals and tasks.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to accomplish objectives and possess proactive and strategic problem-solving skills.
