Job Description:Raytheon will be establishing a regional office in the Vicksburg, MS area to facilitate a team of subject matter experts, and other support personnel, who will support high performance computer software application development and analytical research for the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD). This regional office is to be fully staffed by September 2013. Raytheon Company is accepting applications from prospective candidates, in various technical and non-technical capacities, entry-level to seasoned professionals, to fill several very important roles of responsibility. The following job description describes the criteria for the role of Sr. Storage Administrator.The Sr. Storage Administrator performs storage operations which include installation, testing, servicing and analysis of storage systems, software, hardware, and management systems. The Sr. Storage Administrator also monitors, controls, and optimizes the performance and status of storage resources. The He/She utilizes software and hardware diagnostic tools to identify and resolve operational problems and factors affecting storage performance.Required Skills:
Six years knowledge and experience with petascale storage systems, operations & maintenance, and sustaining engineering.
Experience with SAMFS and other storage file systems.
Experience with Oracle tape libraries and related technologies.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Desired Skills:
Experience with SRB and Storage Lifecycle Management (SLM) software.
Experience with Centerwide File systems (CWFS)
Required Education (including Major):
Bachelor of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Management of Information Technology.
Master's or higher preferred.
Existing Top Secret Clearance required.
