***Long term opportunity – Multiple shifts available***Volt is currently hiring Manufacturing Associates for a local Corvallis company. This is a long term opportunity for the right candidate.  Individuals with previous manufacturing experience are encouraged to apply.Job Responsibilities/Duties:The Tier Four Manufacturing Associate:

  • Is responsible for performing varied and general tasks involved in the Manufacturing process.
  • Assist Supervisory and non-Supervisory employees with various tasks that may include:
  • Performing basic Manufacture, Assembly, Installation or Processing of Components, Subsystems Or Systems.
  • Operating basic hand tools and assigned Production/Manufacturing Machinery.
  • Compiling data for reports.
  • Assisting with daily collection of Production statistics.
  • Scheduling work for designated area(s) of operation.
  • Performing routine operating maintenance on one or more types of equipment.
  • Assisting new employees.
  • Working with other Work Units/Departments, both internal and possibly external to the Company.
  • May be responsible for Customer Design programs and Software Utilization.
  • Core: Applies developed knowledge of the job skills, as well as Company Policies and Procedures to complete a wide variety of difficult assignments/tasks.
  • Demonstrates thorough understanding of the general/technical aspects of the job.
  • Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature and require ordinary problem resolution and independent judgment.
  • Works under limited supervision and normally receives no instructions on routine work and general instructions given for new assignments.

    • This is an estimated 12+ month contingent/temporary position in Corvallis, OR and is offered through Volt Workforce Solutions which is located in Beaverton, OR.     Job Requirements

    Manufacturing Tech IV Qualifications:Required Skills for Manufacturing Associates include the following:

    • 3-5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of experience and college-level education
    • Intermediate to Sr. Level knowledge and skills in some operations/tasks
    • Has the ability to work with multiple projects, as well as the experience/ability to support or lead more than one area of Operations
    • Must be able to pass background check and drug screen

    Education:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
