Job Description Sodexo is seeking a Part Time Registered/Licensed Dietitian for a 150 bed acute care community Hospital in Dover, Ohio.

* The ideal candidate will:
  • Be a Registered/Licensed Dietitian in Ohio, preferably with 1 year of previous experience to manage the nutrition care process for a variety of medical, surgical and critically ill patients
  • Serve The Patient population consisting of pediatrics, med/surgical, ICU, OB, & an inpatient rehab unit
  • also provide out-patient nutrition instruction and be involved in the community education programs
  • Typically work 2 to 3 days per week, the hours and/or days may be greater or less as volumes and Clinical needs of the Hospital are required
  • work with the Clinical Nutrition Manager and team to represent the Department on Hospital committees; and provide nutritional care in close collaboration with the medical staff
  • have excellent communication and customer service skills, have a track record of proactive interaction with the medical team & be a team player with the Clinical RD & management team

    Provides basic nutrition assessments and care planning for patients/residents. Plans special diets and supervises their preparation. Instructs patients/residents and/or hospital personnel in basic principles of nutrition and modifications of normal diet. Performs routine care responsibilities without training and direction.

    Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
    Basic Functional Experience - Meets eligibility requirements for certification as a Registered Dietitian.

    Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
