Job Description Classification:  Financial Reporting Mgr/Dir/VP Compensation:  DOE Our financial services client is looking for a strong audit and accounting professional to help with their year end audit preparation. The position will provide financial reporting support related to investment company accounting and reporting for hedge fund investments. You will be working with the global accounting team, client and client auditor firms. In this role, you will prepare audited financial statements and/or liaise with the client's auditing firms on financial audits and audit support for hedge funds under administration. This includes preparing the financial statements, timeline, schedules, and work papers. You may also be preparing audited and unaudited financial statements and analyzing the accounting and reporting for new and existing investments.Local candidates preferred at this time. Job RequirementsRequirements include:> Bachelor's degree in Accounting.> CPA certification or equivalent.> A minimum of 3+ years of progressive work experience in accounting and/or financial reporting within an investment or hedge fund environment.> Proven technical accounting skills and working knowledge of U.S. GAAP. > Strong skills with MS Office applications.> Demonstrated clear and concise written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels within and outside of the organization.Preferred skills:> Working knowledge of IFRS.> Previous experience with investment accounting systems. > Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office.
