Under the direct supervision of the department supervisor and upon request of the physician, sets up and operates various types of respiratory care equipment and therapies to be utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary disease and/or illness. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Minimum QualificationsEducation: High School diploma or equivalent. Must be a graduate of an AMA accredited Respiratory Therapy Program, and credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a LRCP.Licensure: Maintain current RCP license in the State of Oklahoma.Certifications: Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRTT) or Certified Eligible Therapist. AHA Health Care Provider BLS certification.Preferred QualificationsCertifications: NBRC RRT credential. AHA ACLS Provider certification. AHA PALS Provider certification.
