Job Description Responsibilities: Our client is seeking an IT Engineer for their Overland Park, Kansas (KS) location.The IT Engineer participates in software engineering development projects. This position uses both hardware and software engineering experience to aid project planning, design, business analysis, development, test, and vendor management. Ideally our client would like to have a someone with the `XACCT platform (a.k.a. ASMM). This is the environment that will require that kind of specialty in terms of support, development, and maintenance.Responsibilities:

Requirements analysis for new project initiatives

Solutions Architecture for hardware and software solutions

Break fix actions for critical outages and major production issues

Develop tools for monitoring platform and reporting analysis

Technical guidance and mentoring of others for development on code related efforts

Promotion and certification of new code to the production environment

Job RequirementsThe successful IT Engineer applicant will possess the following requirements (required unless noted otherwise):

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent
4-6 years of related work experience
Experience with high volume mediation platform in a telecom environment including Voice, Data, SMS, MMS, VoIP and Content billing
Ability to deliver a project from concept through production deployment
Excellent team contributor
Ability to adapt to new technologies/applications
JAVA, Amdocs Mediation Framework (ASMM Release 7.0 or higher), Oracle, SQL, and Unix Shell Scripting
