Job Description UTC Aerospace Systems is one of the world’s largest suppliers of technologically advanced aerospace and defense products. (a2 Development, improvement and ownership of manufacturing processes, including but not limited to Process Plans, CNC Programs, Standard Work and Lean Mfg activities (a2 Assess manufacturing processes continually for quality, cost reduction, and efficiency improvement opportunities (a2 Provide engineering support in production Cells to trouble shoot and resolve technical issues (a2 Collaborate with IPD and Design Engineering to ensure product manufacturability, and drive standardization for robust and cost effective processes. (a2 Collaborate with EH&S and/or Quality Engineering to develop and provide technical assistance/training (a2 Specification, cost justification and implementation of manufacturing and material handling equipment (a2 Lead RRCA efforts for Escapes/Turnbacks to Internal and External customers. (a2 Coordination with tool room or vendors for new Fixture/Tooling to support project schedules (a2 Support Hamilton Sundstrand policies, including but not limited to, EH&S, Ethics, ACE, and QMS
Job Requirements(a2 Bachelors degree in Engineering (a2 Project Management and Lean Manufacturing experience desired (a2 Experience in Heat Treat, Plating and/or Welding processes are a plus Basic Qualifications: 1 year minimum work experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident Preferred Qualifications: (a2 Manufacturing Experience, including Machining, Assembly and/or Special Processes (a2 Experience with CAD/CAM software, Unigraphics or AutoCad preferred (a2 Knowledge and application of GD&T principles (a2 Focus on problem solving, efficiency improvement and cost reduction (a2 Self-motivated and an advocate of Continuous Improvement (a2 Ability to drive tasks to completion while meeting requirements for Quality, Schedule and Budget (a2 Ability to seek and implement new technology (a2 Excellent oral and written communication (a2 Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects (a2 Enthusiastic, cooperative, and positive behavior United Technologies Corporation is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
