Accountabilities in this role

The Site Leader is responsible for all aspects of the operation for the Salt Lake City medical products distribution center. 

  • Manages a staff of 12 direct reports and 19 indirect reports
  • Accountable for the P&L including building, distribution, transportation and G&A expenses
  • Works with corporate, human resources, sales force and customers on a daily basis
  • Ensures the timely distribution and receipt of product while meeting the distribution center standards of budget, policies, procedures and quality
  • Responsible for the development of the supervisory and employee population, which includes training, coaching, counseling and performance appraisals
  • Maintains positive employee relations

Qualifications

  • High School diploma required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3-5 years experience in a distribution, warehouse, cross-dock, supply chain or manufacturing environment preferred
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Prior knowledge of Lean Six Sigma processes preferred
