Pitney Bowes Management Services

 
This position will sit in our Pitney Bowes Management Services business unit.  This business unit helps our customers compete more effectively by taking care of critical yet non-core services to allow them to focus on what they do best. These services include:  professional consulting, mail-and-document management and managed output services to integrated content management.
 
We are currently seeking a Customer Service Associate- Office Furniture Installer-(Full-Time 37.5 hours M-F 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.) to act as a building ambassador/ service liaison to assist users with base level facilities needs.  The right candidate will be an integral part of our talented team, supporting our continued growth. This position will be primarily located in an Oklahoma City, OK customer location.  

 
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Furniture Management - to include maintenance of installed furniture, delivery and pickup of case-goods / furniture utilizing company vehicle, setting up conference rooms for special functions or events, and repairing or making adjustments to existing furniture components.
  • Reconfiguration - to include assembly or disassembly of furniture panels and demountable wall systems.
  • Relocation Services - to include the moving of furniture and goods for employees, labs and other function moves.
  • Onsite Asset Management - to track major furniture location, quantity, conditions and manufacturers to maximize furniture lifetime and proper replacement.  And vacancy walkthrough and collection of excess equipment
  • Offsite Warehouse Management - to include maintaining an accurate inventory, evaluating items returned for inventory, recommendations on disposal of non-standard and/or surplus items, warranty/repair as needed on current standard items.
  • Space Planning - to manage the planning and approvals for relocation moves and cubicle reconfigurations, generate space analysis and status reports.
  • Critical Request Response-Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • Perform all duties with a high degree of professionalism and focus on customer service.  Ability to self manage time and resources
  •  BUFFER: This is a short term position up to 2 years with potential for extension beyond. This position offers Pitney Bowes full time benefit packages excluding severance and long term disability. This position could become a long term position but this is not a promise of employment for any period of time.

    Job Requirements

    Required Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 6 months customer service related experience required

    •  Basic computer skills required

    • Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time with or without accommodations

    • Ability to lift and/or move items up to 55 pounds or maximum allowed by current State Law with or without accommodations

    • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
    • Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment
    • Competency in performing multiple functional tasks
    • Ability to meet employer's attendance policy
    • Must have valid driver's license and clean DMV record.
    • Must have a valid driver's license for a minimum of 1 year
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Previous experience in office/conference room set up, furniture delivery and installation highly preferred.
    • Previous experience using power material handling equipment such as pallet jack, hi-lo, and stock picker preferred

    • Highschool Diploma or Equivalent preferred but not required
