Job Description Classification: Accountant - Staff

Compensation: $16.00 to $20.00 per hour

Successful and Stable Worcester Contract needs Driven Staff Accountant. The Staff Accountant will report directly to the Accounting Manager and will be supported by several Clerks. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for entering and processing AP/AR, as well as some Payroll. The Staff Accountant will also be responsible for reconciling accounts as well as the General Ledger and Journal Entries. The Staff Accountant will take on other responsibilities as required.

Job RequirementsThe Staff Accountant should have a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business. At least 7 years of experience performing Basic Account Reconciliation, Basic Year End Closings, Basic Journal Entries, Basic General Ledger, Basic Accounts Receivable, and Basic Accounts Payable.
