Job Description .TAD PGS, INC. is currently seeking a Drafter for one of our clients in Beltsville, MD.Job Description:

Our client is looking for candidates with recent Pro-E experience.

A high level of working knowledge of Pro-E Creo Elements Pro 5 required.

Determines scaling; inserts necessary reference planes, centering and dimension lines, hidden line interpolations, and sectioning.

Prepares Engineering Change Orders (ECO) and incorporates approved changes onto drawings.

Develops layouts of engineering 2D drawings & creates Bill of Materials (BOM) in a field of specialization such as structures, mechanics, tooling, electrical, or electronics.

Works from notes, sketches, or general instructions of designers and engineers to complete details in accordance with standard engineering drafting practices.

Creates more complex 3D models to facilitate the creation of 2D drawings

Designs components or portions of major systems and modifies existing designs to develop or improve products and facilitate manufacturing operations.

Coordinates design criteria with engineering, manufacturing, tooling, material, and planning groups.

May check drawings or models prepared by other Design Drafters.

May assist Designers with their various duties.

Requirements:

High school degree or an Associates degree and formal CAD training

A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience with propulsion systems or similar designs

Proficient software skills with programs including CAD and Microsoft Office

Experience with logical problem solving skills and presentation/writing skills

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment

Must have ProE.
