This person will have a passion for driving results by taking initiative, learning, testing, analyzing and managing agency relationships. This position combines planning with execution and implementation in a fun and well-balanced work environment.
Job Requirements
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:•Participate in weekly vendor calls to gather general requirements, analyze sales data and set goals accordingly that coincide channel goals•Regularly provide timely reporting on channel performance, opportunities and strategies•Engage partners with major brand and product stories, delivering overviews of major stories and top planned products monthly and quarterly•Partner with account team at third party agency to ensure all relationships are optimized•Analyze trends in the industry and competition; Stay abreast on competitor strategies by frequently doing competitor searches and keyword searches within the shopping engines•Manage expense budgets and partner with finance organization•Work with IT closely to identify root problems and find solutions to any feed issuesCOMPARISON SHOPPING ENGINES (CSEs):•Develop strategic relationships with Comparison Shopping Engines (such as PriceGrabber, Shopping.com, Shopzilla and Nextag) to learn about best practices, pilot programs, new opportunities, policy changes and finding ways to improve sales•Responsible for the day to day running and creation of product listings, related data feeds and bid amounts taken to maximize traffic, conversion, sales, and as ratio while staying within budgets•Analyze individual CSE sales performance monthly with account managers to identify areas of improvements and next steps to optimize our presence on the engine, rather it be reducing cost of sale, increasing AOV or increasing conversion ratesMARKETPLACES:•Build strategy for Lands' End presence on external Marketplaces and lead the launch of Marketplaces•Effectively analyze data to develop, track and measure performance of product listings•Develop strategic relationships with online marketplace partners to maximize exposure on store fronts and promotions within the MarketplaceDIGITAL CATALOGS:•Build relationships with account managers of each Catalog app opportunity exploring enhancements and opportunities for Lands' End to increase brand presence and sales•Work cross-functionally with customer service team to publish digital catalogs, troubleshoot issues and create the highest quality customer experience•Review revenue share and additional costs comparing to sales ensuring cost of sale is optimizedREQUIREMENTS:•1-3 years online marketing experience with a passion for the customer experience, curiosity and accountability•Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in using Excel, PowerPoint, web technologies, web analytic tools•Excellent communication skills to interact frequently with internal and external partners•Extremely detailed oriented yet flexible and can deal effectively with changes in priorities•Strength in managing project timelines both internally and externally with partners•Ability to multi-task, solve complex business problems with limited direction, and set personal goals and priorities•Experience using Channel Advisor, Channel Intelligence, Mercent, or similar tool for managing CSE feeds and/or Marketplaces a plus•Ability to understand of the fundamentals of retail ecommerce, especially pertaining to digital marketing functions (CSEs, Online Marketplaces, Data Feeds, etc.)•Bachelor Degree in Marketing degree preferred but not required
