Job Description Provide analysis and support for integrated physician practices and performs chart/charge review assessments at the SSUs and physician practices as directed, in order to identify the accuracy of documentation, coding, charge capture and the accuracy of claims submission throughout Mercy.Minimum QualificationsEducation: Associates Degree.Experience: Hospital and or Physician Practice background.Certifications: Clinical background and/or coding certification with credentials from AHIMA and/or AAPCOther: 1. A strong understanding of CPT/HCPCS, modifiers, UB revenue codes, ICD diagnosis and procedure coding. 2. Excellent written, oral and human relations skills, attention to detail and follow through.3. Ability to work with and preserve confidential information.4. Ability to travel.Preferred QualificationsEducation: Bachelors Degree in a clinical area, healthcare field or equivalent experience.Experience: External consulting experience.
