Job Description Responsibilities: Kforce is currently seeking a Jr. Internal Auditor for a company in the Ft. Lauderdale, Florida (FL) area.Reporting to the Internal Audit Manager, the Junior Internal Auditor performs operational audits, collects and analyzes data to detect control weaknesses, fraud and non-compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepares and analyzes workpapers for all departments at the corporate and resort locations by examining records, reports, and operating procedures manuals
  • Maintains an internal control testing system by updating audit programs and questionnaires, and recommends new policies and procedures
  • Counts cash on hand and premium inventory items to confirm records are accurate and balance with the general ledger

    Job RequirementsThe following skills, knowledge and experience are required for this position unless noted otherwise:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business with a minimum of one (1) year audit experience
    • Must possess proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
    • Must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills
    • Knowledge of accounting practices and procedures, and investigative skills
