Job Description This role is critical to maintaining and improving service quality and regulatory compliance of the infrastructure. This role has a direct impact on service quality by ensuring that we are deploying current, consistent and supportable technologies. The efforts of this team, will directly affect whether we can maintain our PCI compliance. Also, this role is accountable for maintaining global infrastructure standards and certifying new releases of infrastructure technologies.Specific areas of responsibility include:

Leader of a team of highly technical employees that are responsible for defining deployment standards for infrastructure technologies deployed within the corporation.

Leader should be skilled in industry leading server, storage, database, middleware and networking technologies and have a high degree of understanding of their interactions and interdependencies.

Responsible for creating and maintaining standard builds, based on the standards, for global deployment by regional project delivery teams. Liaises extensively with teams globally across GIO to ensure clear communication and employee buy-in.

Accountable for creation/maintenance of patch bundles, and upgrade bundles for global deployment by regional service delivery teams to ensure the corporation is maintaining high levels of compliance and supportability for all areas of patch bundles, and upgrade bundles for global deployment by regional service.

This position requires that the successful candidate must be a lawful permanent resident or US Citizen.Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Capable of building and maintaining an organization with expert knowledge of IT functions, practices and business units. Has strong expertise in multiple systems and in the functions and business units supported.

Effectively able to communicate with all levels of the organization and customer base, including international cultures.

Has strong knowledge of business operations, policies, and practices and of the industry supported. Plans high-level strategy for IT organization and influences business strategy for the business units supported.

Knowledgeable of current and emerging IT standards and practices. Possesses strong project/program management and facilitation skills. Has successfully coordinated and implemented numerous large and complex engagements globally and can manage multiple, global projects simultaneously.

Has strong knowledge of industry standards in security and risk management.

Deep knowledge of High Availability clustering concepts

Broad knowledge of the interactions/interoperability of server, network and storage technologies

Demonstrated experience with PCI compliance or other similar regulatory/security compliance programs

Experience in a large scale IT environment (5000+ servers) with high availability or continuous availability requirements

Demonstrated experience driving adoption of standards

6+ years of related technical and business experience.

Demonstrated experience in building and leading a high performing team; strong developer of talent. Ability to attract, select, inspire, develop and manage talent within the organization.
