Job Description Job Classification: Contract TEKsystems is looking for a Senior Java Developer for an exciting, long term opportunity. The resource will work as part of an agile team developing and supporting software components of an enterprise-scale system. Tasks will include analysis of issues and product requirements, perform design, coding and testing of software components, as well as, providing customer support for existing components. Job Requirements: - Strong Java background with 6+ years of experience - Web development skills (JSP, Servlets, HTML, HTML, JavaScript). - Unit test / acceptance test (Fitness or Junit) experience. - Experience with SQL and writing Stored Procedures - Experience with GWT and/or Spring (core spring components) preferred. - Agile development experience preferred. - Proven experience with object oriented analysis and design. - Experience with design patterns (GoF, Sun J2EE) preferred. - Configuration management (ClearCase) skills preferred. - Experience with WebSphere preferred. - Strong analytical skills and ability to adjust to changing priorities - Positive attitude and ability to learn quickly - Strong technically oriented background - Bachelor degree in computer science or related field, Master degree preferred. - Strong written and verbal skills.
