To be considered for the position, please click Apply Now!Title: Event Team RecruiterPay: $12-14.00 / hour depending on experienceLocation: Honolulu, HawaiiType/Length: Temporary 5/28/2013 - 10/01/2013Job Responsibilities:ACS is seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and passionate person to make a difference by working as an Event Team Recruiter for the American Cancer Society's Annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk.The Event Team Recruiter position is a temporary position where the Recruiter will be responsible for outreach into the Business and Corporate community to recruit walkers who are passionate about the issue of breast cancer and who are interested in becoming team leaders for the event in mid-October, 2013. Other responsibilities include contact prospecting, relationship management, and fundraising strategy coaching.Responsibilities:Outreach to new and retain past event participants by phone and/or via e-mail.Warm follow up with prospective team leaders.Meticulously track and monitor participants using database.Research companies/markets using Internet browsers, etc.Assist in the implementation of the Kick-Off Breakfast and Making Strides event.POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:Excellent telephone & written communication, customer service, & organizational skills are a must. Must be comfortable doing outreach and spending majority of time on the phone.
